This is one of our more unique solid raw copper chains. This chain is for designers looking for chain that makes a statement, the flattened links in this medium-to-large sized chain would make a fantastic boho-inspired design. This Bali copper chain features links that are a spectacular 5mm-6mm across from the outer diameter to the inner diameter! The copper is flat and thin (we believe 28ga or so), so this chain is lightweight while looking substantial.
Most of our other copper chains have copper solder joints, but this chain features faint brass solder joints, another lovely feature that will add wonderful character to your projects. This flat chain is made with soldered wide coin links that are 20mm in diameter.
This solid copper chain was made in Indonesia on the island of Bali by the famed Bali silver makers. All rings on this chain have been soldered, making this chain extremely durable and strong. When using this chain, we recommend cutting it at the solder joints. If desired, re-solder for strength.
This is a raw copper chain, so it does have a patina oxide. It will develop more patina as it ages. Our solid copper chain can be cleaned with a jewelry cleaning dip or cloth.
We cut this chain by the foot, or 12" inches. If multiple feet are ordered, the chain will come in one continuous length. This chain comes unfinished and without clasps or jumprings.
