An alloy of copper and zinc, Brass is an inexpensive alternative to gold and has a bright luster and can also be stamped with letter/design stamps or flame painted with a torch. Like Nickel Silver though, flame painted colors tend to stay on the more muted range compared to other metals like Copper. Brass is different from Red Brass in that it has less copper content. Brass, like Nickel Silver, will generally stay true to its color over time.
