Blackstone 20mm Coin Semi Precious Beads per Strand

Each bead varies in size, shape and color no two beads are exactly alike. Because these are natural stone beads, each one has its own character including crackling, inclusions, chips, etc... These beads are all center drilled, with the occasional bead having a slightly off center hole. These beads measure about 20mm in diameter and the holes measure about .5mm to .8mm in diameter. The strand measures about 7.5" inches long and there are approximately 10 beads on a strand.Blackstone is a term that is generally used for any black colored stone that is either unidentifiable or a form of black jasper. It usually isn't as shiny as Onyx, but rather more satin in finish, and can be carved into unique shapes. Most times it is jasper or chalcedony, and may occasionally have inclusions of cream or brown.
