Dragon Blood Jasper 10mm Round Ball Semi-Precious Stone Beads per Strand

Dragon Blood Jasper is a unique and striking stone known for its mossy-olive green colors that are accented with veins and patches of bright red. The rich, earthy opaque colors make this stone perfert for classic designs and projects. While called Jasper, this stone is actually a variety of Quartz (Chalcedony). There are several stones that are very similar to Dragon Blood Jasper, including Bloodstone (which features a deeper green base with spots of red) and Dragon's Blood Stone (which hails from Australia and features a more blue-green base with flecks of red). This amazing stone is also called Dragonblood Jasper, Dragon's Blood Jasper and Bastite. Our Jasper is mined from South Africa, and then cut, polished and drilled in East Asia. Dry Gulch carries many different cuts and unique shapes of this beautiful stone in several sizes.These smooth round ball beads measure 10mm in diameter and the center-drilled holes measure about .5mm to 1mm.
