These findings have been painted by the Dry Gulch gals in our studio in the Ozarks area of Missouri. Adding life to handmade jewelry by painting plain metal components is one of our favorite things to do. Our hand painted pendants and components can take up to to 2 days to complete in our studio.
These findings are made of an antique silver plated base metal alloy and have been hand painted with metal-specific paints and patinas. No two links are ever exactly alike because of their hand painted nature. The back side has also been painted and sealed. These links have been gently distressed for an old time look and then sealed with a glossy resin. The resin protects the color and imparts an enameled effect.
These links are approximately 30mm wide by 28mm long. They are 4mm thick at the thickest part. The photos in this listing include a ruler so you can see how big the link is. All photos have been taken outdoors with sun light, but as always, computer and mobile screens display colors differently.
