Our Art Deco heart charms are perfect for rustic and romantic jewelry designs. The gorgeous antique style of these hearts feature filigree work around the edges topped with a unique Art Deco flame-style crown. We hand paint each and every one with metal-specific paints and patinas. These charms are high quality and have some weight to them, but they will work in earring projects. These components have been painted by the Dry Gulch gals in our studio in the Ozarks area of Missouri. Adding life to handmade jewelry by painting plain metal components is one of our favorite things to do. Our hand painted pendants can take up to to 2 days to complete in our studio!
These charms are made of an antique silver plated base metal alloy that is lead and cadmium free, and have been hand painted with metal-specific paints and patinas. No two components are ever exactly alike because of their hand painted nature. The back side has not been painted. These charms have been gently distressed for an old world effect and then sealed with a clear glossy varnish. The glossy sealer protects the color and imparts an enameled effect.
These heart charms are a great size, they are approximately 30mm long by 22mm wide. The photos in this listing include a ruler so you can see how big the charm is. The loop on top is 1mm. All photos have been taken outdoors using sunlight, but as always, computer and mobile monitors display colors differently.
