This pendant has been painted by the Dry Gulch gals in our studio in the Ozarks area of Missouri. Adding life to handmade jewelry by painting plain metal components is one of our favorite things to do. Our hand painted pendants and components can take up to to 2 days to complete in our studio!
This sugar skull is made of an antique silver plated base metal alloy and has been hand painted with metal-specific paints and patinas. No two pendants are ever exactly alike because of their hand painted nature. The back side has not been painted, though there could be a little residue from the patina process. This pendant has also been gently distressed for an old world chipped effect, and then sealed with a clear glossy sealer to protect the colors.
This pendant is large, it is approximately 65mm long by 46mm wide. The inside diameter of the loop is 4mm. The photos in this listing include a ruler so you can see how big the pendant is. All photos have been taken outdoors with sunlight, but as always, computer and mobile screens display colors differently.
