How fun are these Toadstool Mushroom homes? These vintage inspired pendants were designed by the Dry Gulch gals in our studio and then created to our specifications, so you won't find it anywhere else. We hand painted our mushroom house in our studio with whimsical patinas and subtle shimmers, PLUS we added sparkling glitters! These adorable findings have been hand painted to look like enameled pieces and would look lovely on a plain chain, but you can also bead around them for a truly one of a kind design. These pieces have been painted by the Dry Gulch gals in our studio in the Ozarks area of Missouri. Adding life to handmade jewelry by painting plain metal components is one of our favorite things to do. Our hand painted pendants and components can take up to to 2 days to complete in our studio!
These pendants are made of an antique silver plated base metal alloy and have been hand painted with metal-specific paints and patinas. No two pieces are ever exactly alike because of their hand painted nature. The back side has not been painted, though there may be a little residue from the painting process. They have been distressed for an old world look and then sealed with glossy resin. The resin protects the color and imparts an enameled effect.
These pendants are standard in size, they are approximately 55mm long by 42mm wide. There is a 6mm loop on top for a jump ring. The photos in this listing include a ruler so you can see how big the piece is. All photos have been taken outdoors in sunlight, but as always, computer and mobile screens display colors differently.
