These pieces have been painted by the Dry Gulch gals in our studio in the Ozarks area of Missouri. Adding life to handmade jewelry by painting plain metal components is one of our favorite things to do. Our hand painted pendants and components can take up to to 2 days to complete in our studio!
These charms are made of an antique silver plated base metal alloy and have been hand painted with metal-specific paints and patinas. No two pieces are ever exactly alike because of their hand painted nature. The back side has not been painted, though there may be a little residue from the painting process. These charms have been distressed for an old world look and then sealed with glossy varnish. The varnish protects the color and imparts an enameled effect.
These charms are standard in size, they are approximately 25mm long by 17mm wide. There is a 1.5mm loop on top for a jump ring. The photos in this listing include a ruler so you can see how big the piece is.
