These pendants have been painted by the Dry Gulch gals in our studio in the Ozarks area of Missouri. Adding life to handmade jewelry by painting plain metal components is one of our favorite things to do. Our hand painted pendants can take up to to 2 days to complete in our studio.
These pendants are made of an antique brass plated base metal alloy and have been hand painted with metal-specific paints and patinas. No two pendants are ever exactly alike because of their hand painted nature. The back side has not been painted and is the base metal color. These pendants have been gently distressed for a vintage look and then sealed with a clear resin. The resin sealer protects the color and imparts a enameled effect.
These elephants are large in size, they are approximately 2-3/4" inches long by 2-3/8" inches wide. The photos in this listing include a ruler so you can see how big the pendant is. The loop is 6mm in diameter. This pendant comes mounted on a paper card.
