Our sparkling Christmas Pinecone pendant is a sweet component perfect for wearing all through the winter season. It features a gathering of traditional holiday spices and fruits like orange slices, cinnamon sticks, star anise and pine needle foliage. Our pinecone was designed in our studio and then created to our specifications, so you won't find this unique component anywhere else. We've hand painted and glittered it too, so it really catches the light and is perfect for the holidays. These pendants have been painted by the Dry Gulch gals in our studio in the Ozarks area of Missouri. Adding life to handmade jewelry by painting plain metal components is one of our favorite things to do. Our hand painted pendants and components can take up to to 2 days to complete in our studio!
These pendants are made of an antique silver plated base metal alloy and have been hand painted with metal-specific paints and patinas. No two pendants are ever exactly alike because of their hand painted nature. The back side has not been painted though there may be a little paint residue. These pendants have been gently distressed for a vintage, chipped look and then sealed with glossy resin. The resin protects the color and imparts an enameled effect. We have also added glitters and shimmers to these for even more sparkle.
This Christmas Pinecone pendant is a great pendant size, it is approximately 2-1/4" inches tall by 1-3/4" inches wide. The loop on top is about 5mm in diameter. The photos in this listing include a ruler so you can see how big the pendant is. All photos have been taken outdoors with sun light, but as always, computer and mobile screens display colors differently.
