These adorable baby crusty crab charms have a nautical life all their own! These little guys have been colored with red and rust patinas for an ancient ocean look. These charms have been painted by the Dry Gulch gals in our studio in the Ozarks area of Missouri. Adding life to handmade jewelry by painting plain metal components is one of our favorite things to do. Our hand painted findings can take up to to 2 days to complete in our studio!
These charms are made of an antique silver plated base metal alloy and have been hand painted with metal-specific paints and patinas. No two charms are ever exactly alike because of their hand painted nature. The back side has not been painted. These crabs have been distressed for a vintage paint-chipped look then sealed with a clear glossy spray. The sealer protects the color and imparts a rustic effect.
These crab charms are small and lightweight. They are approximately 23mm wide by 22mm tall. The top loop is 1.5mm. The photos in this listing include a ruler so you can see how small the charm is. All photos have been taken outdoors using sunlight, but as always, computer and mobile monitors display colors differently.
