This pendant has been painted by the Dry Gulch gals in our studio in the Ozarks area of Missouri. Adding life to handmade jewelry by painting plain metal components is one of our favorite things to do. Our hand painted pendants and components can take up to to 2 days to complete in our studio!
This bird is made of an antique silver plated base metal alloy and has been hand painted with metal-specific paints and patinas. No two pendants are ever exactly alike because of their hand painted nature. The back side has not been painted. This pendant has been gently distressed for an old world look. Some crystals may be missing, but this part of the time-worn effect we strive for. These pendants have been sealed with layers of clear glossy varnish.
This painted vintage bird pendant is medium sized, it is approximately 1-1/4" inches tall by 2-1/8" inches long. The inside diameter of the loop is 3mm. The photos in this listing include a ruler so you can see how big the pendant is. This pendant comes mounted on a paper card and includes one small jump ring.
