This gorgeous vintage style swallow bird pendant has been hand painted in our studio in reds and coppers, then accented with a touch of silver on the feather tips. These focals feature an Art Nouveau style and beautiful details like lots of feathers and a little tail. We've hand painted each one in our studio - some are inspired by real songbirds, others by pretty vintage illustrations. We then sealed them with resin to protect the colors and give them an enameled look. Add one of our songbird pendants to your jewelry and craft designs for the perfect touch of spring! This listing is for one pendant.
These pendants have been painted by the Dry Gulch gals in our studio in the Ozarks area of Missouri. Adding life to handmade jewelry by painting plain metal components is one of our favorite things to do. Our hand painted pendants and components can take up to to 2 days to complete in our studio!
These pendants are made of an antique silver plated base metal zinc alloy and have been hand painted with metal-specific paints and patinas. No two pendants are ever exactly alike because of their hand painted nature. The back side has not been painted, though there may be a little paint residue. These pendants have been gently distressed for an old world effect and then sealed with a clear glossy resin. The resin protects the color and imparts an enameled effect.
These pendants are a large size. They are approximately 60x40mm, or 2-1/2" inches long by 1-1/2" inches tall. The photos in this listing include a ruler so you can see how big the pendant is. There are two loops on this focal that are 4mm in diameter. This pendant comes mounted on a paper card and includes two small jumprings.
All photos have been taken outdoors in sunlight, but as always, computer and mobile screens display colors differently.
