Designed with artisans in mind, The Beadsmith Plate Shears are ideal for cutting sheet metal for jewelry making and other crafts. These industrial shears feature carbon steel blades are meant for metalworking, leather, fabrics, sewing and other crafting purposes. The blades can cut up to 20-gauge metal sheet stock.
The scissor-style handles were created for maximum use, with comfortable grips that can be used with either hand. The cutter is 8 inches (20.3mm) long, with 1.75 inches (44.45mm) cutting blades. While the prolonged blades can easily reach through sheet metal, the tips make clean snips, excellent for detailed work. The plate shears can be used with sterling silver, brass, copper, aluminum, and nickel sheet metal.
