Lapis

Beautiful and alluring Lapis Lazuli, or Lapis, is a famous semi-precious stone that has been used all throughout history.  Its deep blue color is rich and vibrant, plus the stone occasionally features inclusions of metallic gold Pyrite or white Calcite.  Fun fact, this stone has historically been crushed into powder and then used as a pigment in art and cosmetology!  The most famous mining locale for Lapis is in Afghanistan, but Lapis is also found all over the world including Chile, Russia, Canada and the USA.  Dry Gulch carries many beautiful cuts, colors and shapes of this pretty stone; use it to bring a little piece of natural beauty to your next project!
