These pendants have been painted by the Dry Gulch gals in our studio in the Ozarks area of Missouri. Adding life to handmade jewelry by painting plain metal components is one of our favorite things to do. Our hand painted pendants and components can take up to to 2 days to complete in our studio!
These pendants are made of an antique brass plated base metal alloy and have been hand painted with metal-specific paints and patinas. No two pendants are ever exactly alike because of their hand painted nature. The back side has also been painted. These pendants have been gently distressed for a vintage look then sealed with glossy varnish. The varnish protects the color and imparts an enameled effect.
These dragonfly pendants are medium in size, they are approximately 2-1/8" inches long by 2" inches wide, or 55x50mm. The top loop is about 2.5mm. The photos in this listing include a ruler so you can see how big the pendant is. All photos have been taken outdoors in sunlight, but as always, computer and mobile screens display colors differently.
