These adorable baby dragonfly charms are gilded in bold purples, violets and a hint of blue. They have a touch of shimmer on the wings, and also feature sparkly Swarovski crystals for even more fabulousness! These dragonflies have been hand painted to look like enameled charms and would look lovely on a plain chain, but you can also bead around them for a truly one of a kind design. These charms have been painted by the Dry Gulch gals in our studio in the Ozarks area of Missouri. Adding life to handmade jewelry by painting plain metal components is one of our favorite things to do. Our hand painted pendants and components can take up to to 2 days to complete in our studio!
These charms are made of an antique silver plated base metal alloy and have been hand painted with metal-specific paints and patinas. No two charms are ever exactly alike because of their hand painted nature. The back side has not been painted though there may be a little residue from the painting process. These charms have been distressed and sealed with glossy resin. The resin protects the color and imparts an enameled effect. We have also set coordinating colors of Swarovski crystals in the dragonfly bodies for even more sparkle!
These dragonfly adorable small and light weight, they are approximately 44mm wide by 25mm long, or 1-11/16" inches wide by 1" inch long. The photos in this listing include a ruler so you can see how the size of these charms.
