Crackled Quartz is actually Quartz that has been put through a heat treatment to create the crackle effect. Quartz is a classic stone known worldwide for its clarity and beauty. It is the most common mineral in the Earth's crust and can be found in all types of rocks all over the world. Our Crackled Quartz comes from East Asia and has been cut, drilled, treated and polished to create many different kinds of beads.
