Aqua Terra Jasper

 

 Dry Gulch carries many different colors and shapes of Aqua Terra Jasper.  This stone is recognizable by its sand colored webbing and matrix.  Aqua Terra Jasper goes by many names, so we make the distinction for the blue/cream varieties by giving them the Aqua Terra name, while all other colors can be found on our Impression Jasper page.

A man made stone, Aqua Terra Jasper isn't a jasper at all but a reconstructed mineral that is almost always enhanced with boldly colored dyes like turquoise, purple, ocean blue and more.  It is also called Impression Jasper, Sea Sediment Jasper and Emperor Jasper, and it hails from China, Madagascar and South Africa.
